Card OS V4.3 and Smart cards

HiPath SIcurity CardOS V4.3 is a multifunctional smart card operating system that meets the most stringent data security requirements. It offers active and passive protection for stored data, certificates and cryptographic keys.

The CardOS V4.3B Smart Card runs on the module Infineon SLE66CX322P with 32 Kbytes EEPROM. There are options for access without hardware contact on the base of additionally embedded Mifare contactless chip (hybrid card) and also the card can be supplied in different format ID-000 (SIM).

The CardOS V4.3B card (PVC) is also on Infineon SLE66CX642P with 64-kByte EEPROM available.

For certificate based use of the CardOS card , the CSP(Cryptographic Service Providers) PKCS#11 of the Card API V3.2 is necessary.

The respective data is written onto all card components. HiPath SIcurity Card Manager is a Web-based card management and personalization system. It is ideally suited for small and medium-sized enterprises interested in managing and personalizing the cards themselves. The range of capabilities is from recording of cardholder data to issuing smart cards. Administration of the status of cards that have already been issued is supported as well.
