State administration and corporate sector

Tax offices, municipalities, banks, telecoms, water supply and sewage companies, power distribution companies, heat supply companies, companies with many offices which are also region-oriented. Such organizations work with numerouscounteragents and a necessity of preparing and sending a large amount of documents (invoices, extracts, references,notifications,model contracts, etc.) arises in their everyday activity.Using classical technology the documents are printed on paper, put in envelopes and its delivery is further organized.This solution is expensive and very often unreliable one.

Another extensively used way is correspondence by e-mail with messages which are not, in general, digitally signed.
This is a cheap and swift solution but it does not meet the requirements for information security – the exchanged electronic documents are of
informative nature but do not have legal force.

Contemporary tendencies and technologies for electronic communication, electronic commerce and service impose another approach which has affected the functionalities of eConfidenceSystem.

Let us assume that a bank draws up and sends to its customers monthly extracts under their credit card accounts. These are generated by the information system of the bank in the form of electronic documents. The latter are signed with the digital signature of authorized employees, as depending on the work organizationmore signatures may be executed - from account inspectors and employees with relevant responsibilities and representative duties.The options of the corporate version of eConfidence System are used for the protection of the electronic documents.The signed electronic documents may be sent to the customers with an “open” text or enciphered with the public keys of each of the customers.

Each customer who has received the protected electronic document – extract from his/her account –may check the authenticity of its content via a checkup of the validity of the digital signature. For this purpose, the customer may use eConfidence System Lite or eCS CheckUp.

The described technology has the following advantages:

o         Low expenses for administrative service;

o         Swift and easy automated service round the clock ;

o         High quality of the service and personal attention to each counteragent;

o         Guaranteed authenticity of the digitally signed document which was sent and protection from manipulation of the information in it;

o         Guaranteed retention of confidentiality of information via data enciphering so that the information be accessible to authorized persons only;

o         Application of modern technologies and compliance with the requirements enshrined in the law guarantee protection of the information, the validity of the electronic document and protection of the interests of the organization.
